Mike Neal and Shaia+ had a unique relationship and it began in 1995 when Henry and I purchased this mare with the idea of breeding her to the straight Egyptian stallions of SMF. Mike had a terrible accident that left him severly injured and this mare became his comeback to the show ring mare. Along the way they became very close and to this day if she hears his voice she will look for him right away. They were fun to watch together and we enjoyed showing her but it has been even more rewarding to have her gracing our pastures and giving us foals.
