When Divine was born we saw immediately that she is very similar to her dam and therefore needed a name that reflected just how special she is. Cynthia Culbertson, a good friend, SMF farm consultant, as well as a straight Egyptian Arabian breeder, and owner of El Miladi Stud, was visiting at the farm and made the name suggestion. Henry and I adopted it because she is Divine, it fits her so well! While we are pleased that she is going on to become a foundation mare for another straight Egyptian breeding program it will be difficult to say good bye to this mare. She gave Mr. Jaidah a lovely chestnut colt in 2014 by his stallion Marajh KA, we congratulate him on such a nice colt.
